Each Scan can take anywhere from
30 minutes to a few hours
Cookies save your website
logins/ passwords among other
information, if you delete them you will
lose your saved login/pw and most
cookies are harmless but should be
deleted as long as you remember
logins/pw's
You can try rebooting the
computer in Safe Mode w/Networking and
do scans for tough Viruses/Spyware, to
get to Safe Mode, tap F8 while you
computer first boots (before windows
splash screen)
If you run the Panda Online Scan and
still have anything except cookies, you
have a stubborn virus and should call
for service.
Its OK to install ActiveX to run these
scanners. |
